This years half-marathon will be on Sunday 26th August @10am, details to follow
The half marathon course has changed this year to a new flatter faster route and the long hill at the end is gone with the run coming out on the main road near the village now.We also have marked the 10k course this year and it will be timed this year for the first time ever so it should suit all the runners that we have two distances for them to chose from.
Following the great success and tremendous buzz around last years event, Oylegate Glenbrien G.A.A. Club are hosting their annual half marathon and 10K fun run again this year. It all happens on Sunday 26th August with the local GAA grounds being the place for all participants to be. The organising committee are delighted to welcome last years main sponsors, Fastway Couriers, back on board again this year. Everybody is looking forward to working together and providing all participants with yet another top class event. Hospice Homecare is this years chosen charity.
